Our Roly Poly Princess

Many babies have problems sleeping, I know.

Last night, I awoke to Caroline fussing a little to let me know it was time to eat.  I looked to the pallet on the floor where I had put her down.  The floor, you ask?  How could you put your sweet baby on the floor?  I know, that's how I felt.  But our little angel spins, whirls, and turns all over her bed.  She has trouble sleeping because she gets an arm stuck in the slats or her body smushed up against the side of the bassinet.  Wouldn't you?  So we resorted to laying her to rest on the floor with full space to spin and whirl as she slept.

Back to last night....I looked to the pallet where I had put her down.  She wasn't there.  But I could hear her...  I got down on the floor, and sure enough.  She had whirled and spun completely underneath the bed!  Not discontent, actually pretty pleased to be on her belly in her little fort under the bed.

So yes, unfortunately our baby has some problems sleeping.  But maybe it's because she has so much fun in life that sleep just gets in her way!
