Leaving almost heaven, West Virginia; back home again in Indiana

This September it will have been a year since my last post.  You may have thought this blog extinct.  But no.  Weekly I think about what I would write had I the chance to open the computer.  Resolved: return to the blogosphere.

James eagerly took a job at Earlham College in Richmond, IN.  The job is a fantastic fit for him: environmental studies, teaching, doing research alongside undergraduates, experiential education, and a bit of outdoor adventure thrown in to keep things especially exciting.  Our family moved here the first of June, and are gradually making our place here.  Samuel and Caroline love to frolic outside at our country home.  We have added 4 girls to our family - lovely hens in the chicken coop.  The kids love to run with them and watch them.  The chickens watch them equally as intently, but with survival in their eye.  Please come visit, we'd love to have you!  Here's Samuel biking with his new friend, Lena.

But we miss all the wonderful things West Virginia gave us.  She is a rich and beautiful state, generous with her love.  Our friends and family we acquired there will never leave our experiences.  We love you all.
